Luther High School Tuition

A Christ-centered education at Luther High School is more affordable than many families realize. Through a combination of state programs, school grants, church support, and community partnerships, families have multiple opportunities to significantly reduce tuition costs, and in some cases, cover the full amount.
Generous donors to Luther High School truly have an “Us Mindset” when it comes to Christian education. No family pays the tuition list price because grants are applied to all students’ tuition through the Friends of Luther, the Student Tuition Endowment Fund, and other special gifts. Students at Luther High School are truly blessed by the generosity of the Luther community.

Tuition Made Even More Affordable

Here are some other ways families can lower tuition:

  • Congregational Support – The Us Mindset at Luther High School begins with our partnership with churches. Members of congregations in the Luther High School Association receive an association partnership grant for reduced tuition at Luther High School. View the list of congregations here: Association Church Directory. Other churches may provide tuition assistance to member families. Check with your congregation to learn about assistance opportunities. 
  • Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) – Income-based program that may cover full tuition for qualifying Wisconsin families. View more information on our School Choice page.
  • Luther Tuition Assistance (FACTS Application) – Need-based assistance may be offered when processed confidentially through our FACTS system. Families will receive the FACTS Application link upon completion of their application to Luther. The application process opens on November 1 with a deadline of February 15.
  • Good Steward Volunteer Program – Volunteer hours can translate into tuition credit. Visit the Good Steward page to learn more.
  • SCRIP Program – Families can earn tuition credit through everyday purchases. Learn more about the SCRIP Program here.
  • Family or Sponsor Support – Grandparents or sponsors often partner to support students in Christian education.

Tuition Payment Process

Luther High School uses FACTS for billing and payment services. Families must set up an account with FACTS and select a payment option by May 1st for the upcoming school year. All music and athletics fees must be paid by July 31 through FACTS. Payments can be taken by automatic bank checking, automatic bank savings, or automatic credit card.

Tuition payment date options:

  • 1 payment paid in full by August 1st – this will qualify your family for a $100 discount
  • 2 payments – one for the first semester by August 1st and one for the second semester by January 1st
  • 10 payments – scheduled monthly, July through April
  • 12 payments – schedule monthly, June through May. For the monthly payments, select one of the following days of the month: 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th

A completed FACTS agreement is required for attendance at Luther High. Families that have not completed agreements within FACTS by August 1st will be ineligible for co-curricular activities for the entire 1st semester. Students’ eligibility to participate in co-curricular activities depends on their accounts being in good standing. The account must be in good standing by semester exams, or the student’s enrollment will be regrettably terminated.

If a payment is missed for any reason or you are experiencing financial difficulty in meeting your selected tuition payment plan, please relate this concern to the Board of Control’s Finance Committee so that satisfactory arrangements can be made and any inconveniences avoided. Contact numbers for the Board of Control may be obtained through the school office.
