At Luther High School, Career and Technical Education is built around the belief that students learn best by doing. Our world-class facilities, industry-level equipment, and robust curriculum provide students with opportunities to develop practical skills, solve real-world problems, and discover pathways for their future.

Students learn from experienced professionals with real-world industry backgrounds who are passionate about mentoring young people and helping them succeed. Our teachers invest personally in students, sharing not only technical knowledge and hands-on skills, but also the character, work ethic, and servant leadership needed for life beyond high school.

Many of these courses also offer dual credit opportunities, allowing students to earn college credit while still in high school. Through hands-on learning experiences, students gain technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the confidence to apply what they learn in meaningful ways. Whether students plan to pursue a two-year technical degree, a four-year university program, or enter directly into the workforce, Luther graduates are well prepared for success.

Our graduates are highly sought after throughout the community because of the combination of knowledge, technical skill, character, and servant leadership they develop at Luther. Employers and colleges recognize Luther students not only for what they know, but for how they work, lead, collaborate, and serve others.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in Luther’s award-winning robotics team, igKnightion 4021, where teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving come together in a competitive environment. Through robotics, students apply engineering and design principles while building leadership skills and collaborating toward a common goal—reflecting Luther’s “us mindset” both inside and outside the classroom.
