SCRIP Program at Luther High
Welcome to the SCRIP Program at Luther High. SCRIP is like “substitute money.” Friends of Luther (FOL) purchases gift cards to sell to FOL supporters, generating extra income for tuition assistance and other programs. Those who purchase SCRIP cards can use them instead of money and cut tuition costs or support school programs without spending a penny more than you normally would. SCRIP cards can be used at grocery stores, gas stations, and more. Buy SCRIP cards the next time you need a gift card for a birthday, anniversary or holiday present. It’s one-stop shopping!
SCRIP is available to purchase from 8:00 AM-3:30 PM when school is in session. Remember that you can have your child drop off a SCRIP order to the office in the morning. At the end of the day, they will be called to the office to pick up their order.

Why SCRIP?
80% of the income generated by your purchase is credited to either Luther’s Tuition Assistance Fund or the purchaser via a check per the signed scrip Agreement Form which is filled out yearly.
- The SCRIP year runs from July 1 to June 30. If a family has chosen to receive the earned funds, a check will be given to them in July.
How Do I Purchase SCRIP?
- Fill out a paper order form or order online here. Paper order forms are available to print from our website or from the school office.
- Orders can be delivered in person. Parents can have their child serve as a courier to bring your order home.
- Orders will be accepted in the school office any time during regular school hours (Monday-Friday 8:00AM-3:30 on student days).
- All orders must be paid in full.
- You may make checks payable to Friends of Luther.
- No SCRIP orders will be mailed out.
How Soon Will I Get My SCRIP Cards?
The front of the SCRIP order form lists vendors that we keep on hand. Every effort is made to have these cards available at all times. A complete list of vendors is available here.
- Special orders will be placed on the 1st and the 15th of each month.
- Allow an additional 7 days for delivery.
Special Notes
You can use SCRIP with any store or manufacturer coupons. SCRIP looks and acts just like a gift card. Kohl’s will allow you to make payments on your store charge account with SCRIP cards.

Scrip purchases may be made with cash or check only.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to be aware of SCRIP expiration date. Although many scrip cards have no expiration dates, some begin charging a monthly fee after a year of inactivity.
SCRIP is like cash – if it is lost, it cannot be replaced.
