On Halloween of 1938, Orson Welles rocked the nation with a live radio broadcast as Martians invaded Earth! Imagine the reactions when people found out the show was just that – a radio dramatization of H. G. Wells’ science fiction novel.
Join us as we relive the era of radio shows through a production that takes place in a radio studio as voice actors perform this shockingly realistic program and also in a typical 1930s home as listeners realize that the world as they know it could be destroyed! Productions will take place on October 31st and November 1st at 7 pm each night. The show is open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door for $5 (adults) and $3 (students grades preK-12).
